Builders
Records of work, claims and variations. Off your desk.
We connect AI to your inbox, job files and the tools you already use. It drafts the paperwork. You check, sign and send.
The paperwork that waits until 9pm.
Not the building. The paperwork around it.

PS3s and PS4s chased until they are in.
Job-close paperwork, ready to sign.
The AI drafts and chases. Licensed people sign their own work.
Job finished
Consent, inspections and site notes already on file.
Record of work drafted
For each licensed building practitioner's restricted building work.
You check and sign
Only you can sign your record of work.
Sent, then chased
To the owner and council. PS3s and PS4s chased until the code compliance pack is complete.
The AI never decides what counts as restricted building work. You tell it, and it drafts from that.

Four builder jobs, 30 seconds each.
Merchant accounts, split across every site.
Timber, hire and subbie invoices put against the right build from the delivery address or PO.
Always yours: unclear invoices, and anything posted to Xero.
Quote versus actual, for every build.
Where you made money, where you lost it, and what to price differently next time.
Always yours: the lesson you take, and the next price.
Renovation scopes, written from the walk-through.
Measurements, photos and voice notes turned into inclusions and exclusions.
Always yours: the price, the margin and the programme.
Client changes, signed then claimed.
A variation drafted from the client's text, signed off, then added to the next payment claim.
Always yours: what counts as a variation, and its price.
Closing out a build. Before and after.

NZ rules, tracked for you.
Automation keeps the clock and drafts the paperwork. Decisions and signatures stay with you.
| The rule | What it means |
|---|---|
| LBP record of work | Given to the owner and the council when your restricted building work is done, signed by you |
| Producer statements | A PS3 comes from the contractor who did the work; a PS4 from the design professional who reviewed it |
| Payment claims | Have to say they're made under the Construction Contracts Act, and include the outline the payer needs |
| Payment schedules | If the payer sends no schedule in time (the contract time, or 20 working days), the full claim becomes payable |
| Residential work of $30,000 or more | Needs a written contract covering how variations are approved, with the disclosure statement given first |

Questions from builders.
Will it sign my record of work?
No. Only the licensed building practitioner who did or supervised the work signs their record of work. The AI drafts it from your job file and sends it once you approve.
Does it issue producer statements?
No. A PS3 comes from the contractor and a PS4 from the design professional. The AI tracks which are missing and drafts polite chasers.
Does it decide what counts as a variation?
No. You decide whether something is a variation and what it costs, and your client signs. The AI drafts the document and tracks the sign-off.
Can it send a claim or variation by itself?
Not unless you choose. Claims, variations and records sit as drafts for you to approve.
Does it decide my margins?
No. Your rates, margins and allowances are yours; back-costing only shows what happened.
Do I need new software?
No. Keep Buildxact, Fergus or Xero. We connect around them and confirm what works before quoting.
What about homeowners' details?
We say upfront what each AI provider does with data, and only connect the folders each workflow needs.
What does it cost?
A written quote after a free site visit, usually starting with one workflow such as records of work. Any AI subscription is billed by the provider directly.
